Use the Date Picker (Calendar) icon to select
the date or manually enter the date in the Date field. Using Date Picker,
you can only select date range within +/- 100 years from the current year.
The Date Picker component displays only +/- 10 years in the year drop-down list upon any
year selection.
During data entry, when you do not have information about the dates
(month or day), then you enter the dates with only the month and year
or only the year. For Imprecise date and time value, you have to enter
the date manually in the date field.

The date fields in ARISg allows you to enter partial or complete dates. Examples of a Partial or Imprecise date would include the Therapy date field and a Precise date would include the Latest received date field. Latest received date displays precise date and imprecise time.
The application allows you to enter the imprecise date and time for the following fields:
Onset date as per the company
Cessation date as per company
Onset date as per the reporter
Cessation date as per the company
Therapy start date
Therapy end date
Date informed
Date of Outcome
Patient Date of Birth (Imprecise date only)
If you specify the imprecise
date as ' /<Month>/<Year>',
then by default, the application considers as 1st
day.
For example: If you specify the imprecise date as '/Mar/2012',
then the application considers date as '01/Mar/2012'.
If you specify the imprecise
date as '//<Year>', then
by default, the application considers as 1st
day and 1st month.
For example: If you specify the imprecise date as '//2012',
then the application considers date as '01/Jan/2012'
Capturing Case Information
The application allows you to access the various screens depending on your roles and permissions.
At a minimum, enter the basic data necessary for printing the regulatory reports from the various data entry pages.
When you enter the text, you will be indicated by the change in the color when the text exceeds the R2 field length.
This parameter Primary language and Codelist language specifies the language in which the data entry and is carried on and the and Codelist language from the list provided. The languages listed are English, German, Italian, Spanish, International English, French and Japanese.
Using Lookups in ARISg...
The application allows you to directly enter the details in the fields or click the lookup icon and search for the details in the lookup window.
Click
the Lookup icon.
The Lookup window appears.
Enter
the search criteria and click OK.
The search results appear in the list.
Choose
the required information from the list and click Select.
The selected information appears in the Full
Data Entry page.
ARISg on a broader perspective consists of various standard data entry screen that have several fields and section that captures different category of information of an adverse event.
In the pharmacovigilance industry, the ARISg as an entity offers comprehensive data entry features, however, in view of reducing the complexity level, a more novice approach that is on par to main stream data entry screens, a simplified and minimalistic Data Entry Screen called as "ISP Screens" is offered. These screens are easily customized to the needs of the industry. The ISP screen helps users to frame a data entry screens limited only to requirements and standard practices their respective organization and regulatory adopts.
The ISP screens is classified according to the category of information related to an adverse event. These ISP screens are configured to contain only minimum fields and sections that are specific to an adverse event and these fields are also available in the standard data entry screens. For example, the generic information of an adverse event can be captured in the ISP General screens similar to the standard General data entry.
The ISP Screens are available under the Forms menu of the Full Data Entry page. The ISP Screens displayed under this menu are the only those available as part of standard ISP screens available in the ARISg application.
