Entering the Lab Data Information

In this chapter, you record and view details of the various laboratory tests conducted on the person experiencing the adverse event.

  1. On the Full Data Entry page, click the Lab tab.
    or
    On the Forms menu, select Full Data Entry > Lab.
    The data entry page opens.

  1. Enter all the details that you have about the Laboratory test conducted.
    The information you enter appear in the columns at the bottom of the Lab Data page.

In the Forms > Lab Data page, the lab data records you add are listed with serial numbers in a tabular format. The Record no column indicates the sequence number of a lab data record in the list. Each time you delete or add a lab data record, the list is refreshed and the record number is changed according to the sequence. This column helps you to numerically indicate the number of lab data records available.

  1. To enter or remove lab data records, click the Add and Delete links at the bottom of the Lab Data page.

  2. Refer to the section Autocoding MedDRA Terms for automatic coding of the MedDRA terms.

  3. Save the case.

Alternatively, you may also click the Lab Data link on the top of the lab Data screen in order to view the Forms > Lab Data screen.
