Saving the Case

  1. We recommend that you save your case frequently during data entry, in-order to avoid any loss of data during downtime or a power surge, etc.

  2. To save the case do one of the following:

Application displays the message Saving AER… Please wait.
On successfully saving the case, a message is displayed on the status bar, indicating about assigning  case to a user and submission to workflow.  

  1. If you set the Autosave parameter in User Preferences and the application closes abruptly, then you see the following message after logging in again.

If the administrator does not set the Autosave parameter in User Preferences, and a database error occurs when you save the case, the application displays the following message.

Note: The error log file contains the database SQL exception details, named as <username>_<database Id>.log stored under the folder<application folder>/log/. The log file also contains the timestamp of the exception. Whenever a new exception occurs, the application overwrites the log file with the new exception details.
