In the ESM Import Section, if you do not want to import a particular case or safety report but want to generate and send the positive acknowledgment to the sender for the same case or safety report then you can mark the case or safety report (an incoming E2B file) as Do Not Import.
For example, when a particular case or safety report received as E2B file is already received through fax and available in ARISg, and the user does not want to reject the case (Which generates a negative acknowledgment) as it is a valid case then user can mark the case as Do Not Import so that the positive acknowledgment is generated and send to sender.
When you mark an incoming E2B files as Do Not Import, the case is not imported to the ARISg database and the acknowledgment is generated and sent to the sender so that the sender do not send the same file again.
Note: You must have access
privilege for the Import View and Import operation to mark a case as Do
Not Import. The access privilege for the viewing the import section and
for Import operation is set in the ARISg Admin (ARISg
Admin > Security menu > Roles
& Privileges > ESM tab > Screen Privileges section or Operation
Privileges section). For more information on setting the ESM roles
and privileges, refer the ARISg Administrator's guide.
Do Not Import feature is not applicable for Error cases as application
generates a negative acknowledgment for the Error cases.
