Viewing Attachment Details 

Application supports attachment of supporting documents along with the ICSRs and eMDR files as part of the export activity. If there are multiple supporting documents for a single case then the documents are merged into single PDF document and attached to the case.

For eMDRs, the data in the merged PDF file is embedded in the eMDR xml files in Base64 format.

Note: Application supports attachment of files in the following format: jpeg, jpg, xls, doc, txt, rtf, bmp, gif, xml, html, htm, pdf, tif, tiff, and ppt.

Application does not process the Secured, corrupted, or huge documents.

Depending on the export delay set (in hours) for the attachments in Attachment Export Delay – Hours parameter (ESM Admin > Setup > General tab), exporting of case attachment to the partners or authorities is delayed after delivering the case (ICSR file).

The following icons represents the status of the attached document:

Application does not process the Secured, corrupted, or huge documents.

Click on the attachment icon to view the attachment details:

If the attachment is Successfully Processed, then the Attachment Details window appears.

In the Attachment Details window, you can view the Safety Report or device report identification number, MDN for the attached document and successfully processed icon ().

Click to view the attached document in PDF format.

If the attachment is Partially Processed with a Warning, then the Attachment Details window appears with a partially processed icon () and warning icon ().

Click to view the partially processed attachment documents in PDF format.

Click to view the warning message.

If the attachment has an Error then the Attachment Details window appears with icon appears.
