Building the Complex Conditions using Advanced Condition Builder

The application allows you to search for an existing active conditions to create a complex condition using valid combinations of Boolean operators (AND , OR NOT) and parenthesis.

 

To build advanced condition:

  1. On the Condition Details page, select Advanced Condition option.  
    This disables the Condition and Stored Functions sections and enables the Edit button.

  1. Click Edit.
    The Advanced Condition Builder page appears.

  1. Click OK to display all available active and inactive conditions in the library
    or
    Specify Condition Name or Condition Description to search the required condition.
     

Note: The Inactive or deleted conditions are considered as satisfied conditions while building propose list from the ARISg application.

  1. Select the condition name and then click Select.
    The selected condition displays in the text area.

  2. Select the boolean operator required.
    The selected operator displays in the text area.  You can use parenthesis to build the complex condition.

  3. Select the condition name and then click Select.
    The selected condition displays in the text area.

  1. Note:

  1. Click Test to validate the built condition.
    This displays the message " Expression is valid”.  
    If built expression is not correct, the application displays the error message based on the condition built. Correct the condition, if it is not a valid expression.

  2. On the confirmation page, click OK.

  3. Click Save to validate the resultant expression.
    If the expression is valid, the Advanced Condition Builder window is closed and the validated expression is displayed in the Condition Details page with double angled braces in the Advanced Section text area.
    If there are any extra spaces in the expression, the application trims the extra spaces before displaying.
